Course Description

An introduction of the common heritage, global dynamics, and historical components that crafted the making of modern Europe. The course will assess the unfolding historical events from the 17th century up to the present, examining major societies in the region, including British, French, German, Italian, and Russian societies, among others. The focus will be on the interactions among Europe's different societies, and between Europe and the larger world. (Multicultural Course)
